Who Are We?

The Palatine Shop is THE source for Newburgh souvenirs. Named in honor of the razed Palatine Hotel (our logo/signage uses the exact font of their original signage) and the Palatines, the German religious sect (from the geographically similar region of the Rhine River) who were the first European settlers of the City of Newburgh. The shop grew out of Newburgh Art Supply owner Michael Gabor's passion for collecting everything Newburgh. The shop is selling antique and vintage souvenirs as well as contemporary collectibles, including local music, movies, books, postcards and notecards. We've moved to a new space at 5 Grand Street, another Newburgh gem with an interesting history. We also buy Newburgh-related items.
